JUDO

Henry Nunez is a 5th Dan Black Belt in Judo. Henry has been training Judo for 30 years. Has studied with coaches from Japan, Spain, Russia, Cuba and Costa Rica. He is a two time Olympian (Atlanta´96 and Seoul`88 Olympic Games). Also placed 11th in the World Judo Championships in Hamilton, Canada´93. Henry has several National and Central American Championships on his resume. Currently he is the coach of the Costa Rican National Judo Team.

You can train with Henry in Iwanami Dojo, established since 1996. Classes $30 a month in groups of 15 students. $40 an hour, Personal Training in Newaza (grappling)

BRAZILIAN JUI-JITSU

Sidney Machado

Sydney Machado is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, training under Leao Teixeira in Rio de Janeiro and also Crolin Gracie in Florianopolis Brasil. He is currently under contract with BodogFights and has an MMA record of 4-2.

Sydney will have his website completed soon where you can view his entire resume. We will have this posted for you as soon as possible. Classes are $50 a month at the World Gym in Escazú. Personal classes are $50 an hour.
